Join Cara Lockwood and Crew for an adventure in Painting BIG! During this challenge Cara will guide you through each step needed to paint a Bold and Beautiful mural… which she refers to as her COLOR POP style. This challenge will take place over 5 days and Cara will make it FUN and EASY… her recipe for success!

This painting big class is created for you! Whether you are a seasoned artist or just beginning your creative journey, we promise success!! Cara will break it down into easy to follow exercises and practice before we start our masterpiece. The challenge is to learn… and to paint BIG!!! Here’s the Schedule:
Day 1: Doodling Fundamentals - Cara will walk you through the creation of several fun and funky flower forms and show you her special tricks to make your doodles (or when painting big) line work pop!
Day 2: Design and Composition - Come on now… When you do paint big, you are going to want to make sure your composition and design are ON POINT! Cara will help you work it out on paper, sharing some simple tricks to help you find the right composition for your challenge project!
Day 3: Let’s Throw Some Paint - Get it on the Canvas. Whatever you Canvas (Cara will be painting a large one) We’ve got to get some paint on! No details here… The color pops start with just some splotching and splatting and quite a lot of chatting.
Day 4: Flowers, Marks, and More Flowers and Marks. Here you will form your flowers, look for fun places to add marks and details. Cara will help you with seamless transitions between your flowers and bold marks.
Day 5: Details and Line Work: Cara will guide you through those doodling principals to make your flowers pop like posies!
